I arrived here on January 10th. I was a little worried because I came here a week later than other students. so I had to adapt fast. I was also worried about friendship and how to improve my English skills. About 6 months ago. my mom and I were worried about my English skills. Therefore. she decided that I should join CIA camp and improve my English skills. I agreed with my mom that’s why I am here studying in CIA.
I came here with my friend but he was in family camp. Therefore. I had to make friends. My roommates were my first friends. When I entered in the villa. it was midnight and two students were sleeping. I woke them up. We became friends fast by talking at that night.
There have been many activities and events since I came here. However. I have two experiences which were memorable. First one was home visit. At that time. I could experience the atmosphere of Philippines. I could also experience Philippine culture by playing some games. It was a good experience. Another one was going to SM mall and water sports.
I think I’ve learned not only English but also many things. Through speech training. I’ve learned how to deliver a speech. I’ve also learned how to clean our room in preparation for roll call every night. I’ve learned about cooperation as well.
I don’t want to join CIA English camp again. There are some reasons why I don’t. Next year. I will become third grade in middle school. and I have to prepare for my high school. I think I can use time not here but other ways. Also. I will improve my English skills on my own rather than joining a camp. Of course the time here isn’t wasting. However. I think I can spend my time more efficiently next year. In the result. I don’t or won’t join CIA English camp again.
