I arrived in the Philippines on January 2. The airplane had taken off on January 1. But it landed on January 2. It is the day to be in another country for the first time. So I was very excited and all of the things looked new and different from Korea. The first feeling of the Philippines was that it was very hot and humid. And when I went out of the airport. I could smell the odor of the cigarette. So I didn’t felt good and I was very tired.
On my first day in CIA. I felt that I will have fun and I will have a memorable experience. Later. I felt that this camp has a very tight schedule and I will have no time to rest. But after I came here for 4 or 5 days. I felt that I had already adapted in here and there were some times left to take a rest.
The reason why I joined CIA English Camp is because I needed to study English harder and had to have confidence about my English skills. And my English skills didn’t get better in Korea. It just stayed the same. So I needed an impact to improve my English skills.
My first friend in CIA English Camp is Michelle. Michelle is my cousin. So I already knew her before I came here. I always see her on holidays or on special occasions. So we are very close friends. Except her. my first friend is Rebecca. She is one of my roommates. So. Rebecca was my first friend in CIA English Camp.
There are some memorable experiences I had in CIA English Camp. First. the time I first went to SM is one of my memorable experiences. We did a mission and our group was the first. And then we did shopping. And also we ordered lunch for ourselves. Next. is the time when I went to Plantation Bay. I think I will never forget the feeling of happiness when I ate in the buffet of Plantation Bay. And it was very fun in the swimming pool. Lastly. the time with my teachers is the memorable experience.
I learned cooperation. friendship. leadership. confidence. and mostly English skills in CIA English Camp. I could learn cooperation. friendship. and leadership by group work in Sports. Voca. Native class. And I had confidence on my English skills and I learned more English skills by all the classes.
If I can choose to join CIA English Camp again or not. I will choose not to join again. I love the views. teachers. and people in the Philippines. But I think I already learned a lot in here. And I think the students who came here are not that eager to study English. The students that I study together always talk in Korean with others. So it is hard to concentrate in class. But I would love to visit the Philippines again. Even though I learned many things in CIA English Camp. I think I won’t come again. But it gave me an impact on me to study English harder.
