EXPERIENCES IN CIA CAMP<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I have many wonderful and unforgetable memories in here. First when I came here. everything seems unfamiliar and I feel nervous because I don't know anybody. But after a few days. I was familiar with Korean staff. Filipino teachers. and many students. I adapted the camp. When I study with teachers and friends. the boring class changed into fun and exciting. We have to talk in English in the camp. I felt ashamed and nervous so I whisper Korean to my friends. We even speak unskillfullness English everyday. We can speak English very well if we practice everyday and if I will meet a foreigner and if she's going to ask me for the right way. I can answer her. I won't run away like what I did before. And if I go to Europe. I won't hide behind my parents. I will talk with them. I am confident on my English skills. Every 7 PM. we do have Math class. If I don't know how to solve the Math problem. I feel safe because I know that our math teacher will help me. I also do sports about one hour and 20 minutes everyday. Sports teacher teaches me how to swim. Actually I didn't know how to swim. but after I learned from teacher. I can swim very well. We study from Monday to Friday. We go to SM and do some activities on Saturday. I already played zipline. banana boat. jetski. and having a city tour. It was fun and I could make exciting memories. At shopping mall. we can buy cheap goods for excellent quality. At that place. I can buy what I need and also presents for my teachers. parents and friends. Even weekdays. we can play games and experience Philippine culture. First at home stay. we experienced the culture and tasted Philippine food. We've seen their clothing and shelter. In there. we ate Philippine food and we bought Korean cup-ramyeon. I ate together with Filipino children. We also played duck walk. paper dance. trip to Jerusalem. and flour blowing. It was really an exciting game! But i lost in the game. How sad... Now I have many unforgetable memories. I spent my vacation with a purpose. After this. I won't forget about this camp. I don't know if I can still come back on the 16th camp. I will come if I can. I promise.
-CIA캠프에서 있었던 경험
나에게는 이 캠프에서 잊지 못할 추억이 많이 있다.
처음 이 캠프에 도착했을땐 모든게 낯설었다.하지만 계속 지내다보니 선생님과 필리핀 선생님들과 많은 친구들을 알게 되면서 캠프에 적응했다.
선생님과 친구들과 함께 공부를 하니.지겹던 공부가 재미있어졌다.
처음엔 강당에서 영어로 말하기가 창피하고 낯설어서 몰래 귓속말로 하다가 계속 미숙한 영어로라도 계속 말하니.친구들과도 유창하게 영어로 말할 수 있게 되었다.
길에서 외국인 하고 마주쳐도서 길을 알려 달라고 말하면 옛날처럼 도망치거나 모른다고 얼버무리고 가지않고 친절하게 답변을 해주고 .유럽에서도 부모님뒤로 숨지않고 대화를 나눌 자신이 생겼다. 매일 밤 7시마다 수학수업을 할 때도 친절하게 가르켜 주시는 선생님이 있어서 든든하다. 그리고 여기서도 매일 1시간 20분씩 체육을 하는데. 수영을 가르쳐 준다. 나는 수영을 할 줄 몰랐는데. 수영(자유형)을 할 수 있게 되었다. 이렇게 열심히 월요일부터 금요일까지 열심히 공부하고 나면 토요일에 SM쇼핑몰과 어딘가를 간다. 나는 벌써 집라인. 바나나보트. 제트스키. 세부시티 투어를 했다. 모두 정말 신나고 재밌는 경험을 만들 수 있었다. 쇼핑몰에서는 모든 걸 살수 있었다. 그곳에서 내가 필요한 것과 부모님과 선생님과 친구들의 선물을 질 좋고 싸게 살 수 있었다. 여기서는 평일에도 게임이나 문화체험을 했다. 먼저. 홈스테이에서는 필리핀 사람들의 문화와 의식주를 살펴 볼 수 있었다. 그곳에서 필리핀음식도 먹고 마트에서 한국 컵라면을 사서 매워서 호호 불며 라면도 같이 먹고 그 집에 잇는 아이들과도 친해졌다. 또 필리핀 전통게임도 있었는데 접시 끼고 달리기. 종이 춤. 의자 빨리 앉기. 밀가루 불어서 사탕 차직 게임을 했다. 정말 재밌었다. 이렇게 나는 이 캠프에서 못 잊을 추억과 방학을 헛되이 보내지 않았다. 앞으로 절대 잊지 못할 것이다. 이 캠프를.... 16회 캠프에서 만날지도 모른다. 올 수 있으면 올 거 라고 다짐을 한다.
